A change is in order

There is a plethora of sites/blogs/books/magazines/& newsletters that can give you any and all of the info I was hoping to present on this blog. So I have decided to change my direction. I have been undergoing a series of changes in my life. Mostly to try and simplify it. But also to live in a more sustainable way.

I have also, recently, confirmed that I have a food intolerance to wheat. Anything that has wheat in it does not agree with me. So I have cut out all of my favorite foods! )-; But I have also been finding wheat free subsitutes for them. As I discover foods and recipes that work for me I plan on sharing them here.

So basically this blog will be a diary on my journey into a simpler/more sustainable/wheat free life. If any of this helps you, great! If you have ideas you want to share, please do. If you find inaccuracies in the info I am presenting please bring it to my attention.

Until next time.

Live a Greener Life

Yeah, I really am into the "Green Thing". As much as I can, whenever I can. That is my answer when people ask: "Are you into the Living Green, environmental thing?" I always find myself in conversations with people about doing right by the planet, living "Green", and being socially conscious. So, I decided to blog about it.

This blog is about anything and everything Green. And about living green to the best of our abilities, and with in our own unique situations. So one person may be able (or willing) to do things that another is not. I will be focusing on Real solutions, for Real people. Not the utmost that people with deep pockets can do. Sure it is great that they can, but what about the rest of us? And I will also write about the "Need" for certain things that are not green (with in reason of course). For me it is long-ish Hot showers. For you it may be -FILL IN THE BLANK. I think living green is like dieting, if you are not allowed to cheat a little than you might not succeed. And like dieting, it will be harder if you think of it as a "Green Diet" instead of as a "green Lifestyle".

The point is: it does not hurt to go green with in your means. Every little bit helps. And no matter what your beliefs are about global warming, doing green is doing good. Not just for us right now, but for our grandchildren. And if we instill these beliefs in them than it will be good for their grandchildren as well.
